Opulent present The Very Best and Radioclit (Official Laneway Afterparty)

January 30th, 2010
Doors: 10pm
Tickets $10 Early Birds (Limited), $15 + bf Presale, More on Door
Party DJ duo, RADIOCLIT, known for collabs with Crookers, Diplo, Santigold and MIA have been added to tear this party up. Not only are they well known for fusing global sounds with dance music, one of them also sports a great mo. With a swag of releases for Diplo’s Mad Decent, Counterfeet and Mental Groove, their crates are deep, and they’re not afraid to do some DJ-dance-moves behind the decks. The vibe will be infectious.

THE VERY BEST is African-born, Esau Mwamwaya and European production team Radioclit and they’re playing the official Melbourne Laneway Festival afterparty at Roxanne Parlour.

Their sound is a blend of cutting-edge dance production layered with African pop. Their live shows are renowned for being a hell of a lot of fun – they blew many minds when they closed out the Pitchfork Festival earlier this year.

Their album, Warm Heart of Africa, was recently released and has been getting massive write-ups around the world.

This is going to be one of the shows of the summer.
